My in-laws, Norm and Pat Reimondo, moved here in 2005. What do you do for fun in your spare time? I watch my kiddos participate their activities. I love to get massages (thank you Kelly at Dr. Molin's office), read books, go to bible study, exercise & spend time with my girlfriends. Tell us about your family. I'm married to Rob Reimondo. He is an attorney at Capper Tulley & Reimondo. We have 5 children: Jack (19), Sophie (17), Ryan (15), Vince (12) & Rachel (6). Jack is a freshman at Indiana State. The rest of the kids are in the Southmont School district. What song always makes you get up and dance or sing along? "Brown Eyed Girl," by Van Morrison and "Jesse's Girl," by Rick Springfield. (Apparently songs with the word "girl" in the title.) What was your reaction when you were asked to be a Star? I was surprised and excited. The fact that Steve Frees is my partner makes being chosen all the better. I have known Steve since before we moved to Crawfordsville. Why did you decide to participate in this Youth Service Bureau fundraiser? Someone has to say "yes!" The YSB supports many great programs and is reliant on this event. I feel that it's important to give back to the community. Why should the public come to this event and support you and your partner? This is a fun and entertaining evening. My partner, Steve Frees, has participated every year since the event's inception and he is determined to win! We will do our best to put on a great show! |

Glenda was also in charge of the choreography for the dancers with the Purdue Marching Band. What is your favorite genre of music to dance to? I love dancing the swing and jitterbug. So any music of that era is good with me. Glenda and I also enjoy ballroom dancing which includes the waltz, cha-cha, rumba, fox trot, and the quick step which would be big band music. Why did you decide to participate in this Youth Service Bureau fundraiser? After teaching for 40 years, I have seen the good that the Youth Service Bureau does for the youth and adults in our community. There hard work is awesome. It is also wonderful to reconnect with past dancers and the YSB's staff. The alumni of DWTS have become good friends and it is always a joy to see them again. Why should the public come to this event and support you and your partner? It is an incredible evening to visit with everyone from Montgomery County and enjoy a fun filled evening of dance, food, auctions, and fundraising for a great cause, the Youth Service Bureau. My partner, Nicki Reimondo, and I have known each other since her husband was a Phi Delt at Wabash and I was the advisor. Our daughter baby sit her children so we have been friends for a long time. Nicki picked the music that we are dancing to this year and it is a difficult dance. Nicki is a real trooper and is working very hard to give the best performance possible. |
